  • How did ATC's manage to do the job and stay awake in the 1970's, 1980's, and 1990's? Were there different schedules or is it that people are different now and don't take their jobs as seriously.

  • This story reminds me of the old days when women had illegal abortions in the US. They were back door abortions in unsanitary conditions and could have even been in the back of a tile shop. They were not performed by doctors.

  • I'd say the problem was more of worldwide overpopulation causing stresses to everything, but I think what's coming in my lifetime won't be pretty. There's no greatest generation around to pick up the slack.

  • Thanks, Mr. Miller, for your service to this country. My own father and uncles were serving in Germany during WWII. The Greatest Gen were also the bravest generation ever.

  • I feel so sorry for the fate of this poor kitty. All parties are at fault here. The owner should have flown to pick up the poor kitten and flown back with her. If you don't have the time for this; you don't have the time for a pet at all.

  • What a generation--both men and women, and how nice society was when they were in the mainstream. I miss those times. My father and his brothers served in WWII, but all died in the 1970's way before their time.
